I’ve had the pleasure to work with Sebastien Heintz, who is the president of the Zenith Aircraft Company in Mexico, Missouri. Sebastien is a second-generation engineer, pilot, and entrepreneur. His father Chris Heintz designed many of the current kits that are available for purchase. Zenith Aircraft manufactures and distributes plans and kits that anyone can build and fly. The designs and aircraft are some of the most popular kit planes on the market today, and they have legions of devotees and builders throughout the world. Here’s an example of my aviation photography work showing Zenith’s CH 750 Cruzer in flight above Audrain County, Missouri. The CH 750 Cruzer is a light sport utility kit plane and is Zenith’s most popular model.

The photograph was taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera with a Canon EF100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens at f/16.0 with a 1/60 second exposure at ISO 125. The processing was done with Adobe Lightroom CC.
