Wende Wagner, Director of Marketing & Development of the Missouri Symphony, hired me to do some Event Photography for some of their upcoming performances. She also asked me to take individual headshots of their staff for their web page. And finally, we did a group photo of the team.

Most of the performances and events and the Missouri Symphony promotes take place at the Missouri Theatre in Columbia. As a result, we did the group photo on the upstairs level of the theatre with unique architecture and chandeliers in the background.

Wende and her staff, including Executive Director Trent Rash, were easy to work with and amicable. I arranged them along the handrail of the historic theatre. I took the final photo with a Sony α7R IV mirrorless camera coupled with a Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS lens. I shot in manual mode with a 1/60-second exposure at ƒ/4.0 with an ISO of 400. I used a 37.4-inch Godox Octa Softbox for the key light. For the fill light, I employed a 47.2-inch Godox Octa Softbox with a grid. I also used a bare bulb Godox AD360 WITSTRO Portable Flash for the hair light.
