The staff at the National School Choice Week organization hired me to do event photography at their student assembly at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City. The National School Choice Week organization advocates individual choice for parents on schooling options for their children, including private and religious schools. The students, who represented schools from across the State of Missouri, wear the movement’s signature yellow scarves when they gather. Here’s a wide-angle shot of the ceremony at the rotunda at the Capitol building in Jefferson City, Missouri.

The photograph was taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV camera with a Canon EF11-24mm f/4L USMlens at ƒ/4.5 with a 1/60 second exposure at ISO 2000. The processing was done with Adobe Lightroom CC.
