Last Saturday, I was doing some architectural photography for Simon Oswald Architecture in downtown Columbia, Missouri. I was using my drone to photograph one of their new buildings on Walnut St. During the photo session, I decided to fly a few blocks down and take some photos of the Mizzou homecoming parade. As the procession made its way down the road, I positioned my drone over 5th Street and hovered as a group of marchers holding a large American flag walked down Broadway. I patiently waited for the flag to turn the corner and captured this photo with the flag positioned at a perfect forty-five-degree angle.

The photograph was taken with a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone with a Hasselblad L1D-20c camera at ƒ/2.8 with a 1/800-second exposure at ISO 100. The processing was done with Adobe Lightroom CC.
