I often take photo drives out to rural areas around Central Missouri when I have downtime from my commercial photography work. On this particular day, I drove out to Slater, Missouri, to photograph an abandoned house. On my way home, the sunset was creating vivid colors in the western sky. I stopped at Grace Fellowship Church on Highway 240 in rural Howard County. I quickly set up my tripod and used my manual focus Canon tilt-shift lens for architectural perspective correction and took this picture of the church complemented with the colors of the sunset.

The photograph was taken with a Sony ILCE-7RM2 camera with a Canon TS-E24mm f/3.5L II lens at ƒ/8.0 with a 0.6-second exposure at ISO 100. The processing was done with Adobe Lightroom CC.
