I was recently hired for an architectural photography job by Simon Oswald Architecture of Columbia, Missouri. Lead architect Robbie Price asked me to take pictures of the True Media building. The building is the former location of the Commerce Bank. The building was renovated and re-designed for True Media. The building features beautiful landscaping, exterior lighting, and a broad set of office windows on the facade. I decided to try a long exposure shot of the illuminated building with passing traffic at dusk. The deep blue of the evening sky compliments the warm light emanating from the windows. To get this shot, I used my sturdy aluminum Slik tripod for the long exposure shot and stood in the median with passing traffic whizzing by. I also used the recently released Sony a7R IV camera with the new 61-megapixel sensor to capture all of the detail.

The photograph was taken with a Sony ILCE-7RM4 camera with a Canon TS-E24mm f/3.5L II lens at ƒ/8.0 with a 25-second exposure at ISO 100. The processing was done with Adobe Lightroom CC.
