During the worst of the Missouri River flooding in Central Missouri this past summer, Missouri Life Magazine asked me to take over their Instagram account for some editorial photography. I spent several weeks traveling to different flood areas in Boone, Cooper, Howard, and Callaway counties. I made several trips over to Glasgow, Missouri. I used my drone to take this picture of the town which sits on the high ground along the east side of the Missouri River. You can see the submerged farm fields in the vast expanse of the floodplain in the distance. The photograph was taken with a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone with a Hasselblad L1D-20c camera at ƒ/2.8 with a 1/80-second exposure at ISO 100. The processing was done with Adobe Lightroom CC.
