In 2013, Nick Borgmeyer of Simon-Oswald hired me to take architectural photos of the Gerald T. and Bonnie M. Brouder Science Center building on the campus of Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri. I was honored to take pictures of the new building on the campus of my Alma mater. I graduated from Columbia College in 1987 with a B.F.A. in painting and drawing and did most of my studies with painter Sid Larson. For this photo, I arrived at dusk and used a small aperture of ƒ/22.0 to get the star-like effect on the lights.
The photograph was taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera with a Canon EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM lens at ƒ/22.0 with a 20-second exposure at ISO 640. The processing was done with Adobe Lightroom CC.
