On Highway 100, that runs along the Missouri River bottoms in Osage County near Chamois, Missouri, there is an abandoned farmhouse that sits like a sentinel. The house is surrounded by tall trees and sits alone in rich farmland. On a moonlit evening, the house is illuminated by warm light. For this picture, I used Quantum Trio flash units with red gels to light the interior and used blue gel to light the left side of the house. A white flash was placed behind the large tree on the right to illuminate the right side of the house. In total, five wireless Quantum Trio flash units were used to shoot this scene.
The photograph was taken with a Sony ILCE-7RM2 camera with a Canon TS-E24mm f/3.5L II lens at ƒ/5.6 with a 0.3-second exposure at ISO 800. The processing was done with Adobe Lightroom CC.
