Notley Hawkins Is Columbia’s #1 Trusted Photographer

Notley Hawkins has lived in Missouri his whole life. Born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, he studied painting and drawing at Columbia College with Sid Larson, a protege of Thomas Hart Benton. He later attended the University of Missouri in Columbia for his Master’s degree, where he worked with noted artist and cartoonist Frank Stack. Notley did additional studies at the prestigious Skowhegan School in Maine. He has also held residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and the Ucross Foundation. His work is in The State Historical Society of Missouri’s collection and The Ashby-Hodge Gallery of American Art’s collection. Although Notley never took a course in photography, he is firmly established in the photographic arts. After growing disinterested in painting and drawing, he took up photography in 2005 and is now a full-time fine art and commercial photographer specializing in landscape and architectural images. Notley’s fine-art photography is represented by MONK Talent. He also works as a commercial photographer for The Evoke Group in Columbia, Missouri.
